Payment is made by credit/debit card. We will store a card on file and card will be run at the end of the business day. Cash/check is also an acceptable form of payment. Health savings accounts (HSA) cards are accepted as well.

SESSIONS Psychology partners with multiple national and Nashville based organizations who offer need based financial assistance for people across all music professions (artists, singer-songwriters, photographers, session players, producers, managers, etc.). We do not take insurance directly, but we can be considered an “out of network” provider and provide the necessary codes and clinical information necessary (known as a Superbill) for your own filing/reimbursement claims. It is your responsibility to check in with your insurance plan and see how much is covered for out of network claims. Your insurance company will not likely reimburse you for the full cost of the session, but rather a set portion. We have many clients who take advantage of this, and the reimbursement process is fairly straightforward.
Please note: insurance companies do require a diagnosis before reimbursing. With that knowledge, many people choose not to file for coverage in order to prevent a diagnosis being added to their medical records.
