Jenika.
Jenika Foust is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor, with a Mental Health Service Provider designation (LPC-MHSP, temp). Jenika has a trauma-informed approach to the therapeutic process which is informed by her extensive background in the music industry. With a vast and expansive history in music and the arts, Jenika is familiar with the unique challenges individuals face in relation to creative or non-traditional lifestyles. Additionally, Jenika’s approach is informed by her training in Somatic Experiencing, Brainspotting, the Gottman Method, amongst other creative modalities. Jenika is also trained in animal-assisted therapy (AAT-I) and can often be found co-facilitating sessions with her therapy dog, Daisy.
Jenika takes a relational approach, celebrating and welcoming individuals and couples from all backgrounds. She has many specialties, including her work with youth and adolescents, as well as music industry professionals and their spouses. Jenika is incredibly passionate about helping individuals heal from within and is thrilled to be a part of the SESSIONS team.
